Guardo is a very powerful building management software offered over cloud. It helps you automate all your activities in residential apartments or commercial office spaces. How does Guardo work?
We have created below products thoughtfully for our customers to improve their lives.
- Resident app: This app is for residents for approving visitors' entries, receiving alerts for their domestic helpers and many more. Residents have access to helpdesk, pay maintenance, notice board, hire services and voting.
- Security app: It is for Security Guards to allow Visitors in and out of the building. Every entry seeks approvals from the residents to allow / deny the visitor entry.
- Building Manager portal: Our web app portal is for building management to carry out and automate all their community related activities and transactions such as creating maintenance invoices, notice boards, action helpdesk issues and many more.
What infrastructure does my community need to use Guardo?
Simply nothing! Guardo team provides an android app for Security Guards to use at the main entrance gate. Residents can download the app from the app store or playstore for free on their existing smart phones and building managers need an internet connection to their desktop / laptop to use the web portal.
How to start using Guardo app?
Click on Register your building and one of Guardo friendly members will contact you to demonstrate the product and we take it from there.
What’s in the demo?
We explain more in detail about the Guardo app features and how it makes your current processes much easier. We have a free trial available if you wish to go ahead. We don’t require any credit card or any payment to start the free trial.
How long does it take to onboard a building?
The onboarding process usually takes no more than 1 hour.
FAQs (Residents)
Visitors:
Can I pre-approve my expected deliveries (for instance, Amazon)?
Most definitely. You can just set up a pre-approval for upto 30 days using "delivery" from quick links on your homepage of your app and have a stress free delivery.
What if I am not home to pick up delivery?
You can select "leave at gate" option when you get delivery notification and security guard will pick it up for you. You will then receive a 4-digit PIN to collect your delivery from security guard.
Can I setup indefinite auto approval for my regular deliveries (for instance, DHL)?
Yes, you can just tap on the DHL company icon on your profile, this will setup auto-approval indefinitely.
I approved an entry accidentally. Can I change it?
Yes, you can go to that activity card and mark it as “wrong entry”. Please note that you cannot change your rejection, but you can call security to re-request.
Profile:
I am not a resident, can I still use Guardo?
Absolutely, you can have access to Guardo to know what’s happening in the building in relation to building maintenance, upgrades, polls etc...
Can my family also use Guardo?
Yeah, why not? We encourage every resident to join Guardo. All your family can use this app, just go to your “profile” page on the app and add your family member/s. This can only be done by the active app user in your family.
Payments:
I have paid my due using bank transfer but still shows unpaid on Guardo. Why?
Any payments that are not made using Guardo app needs to be marked paid by your building manager. Speak to your building manager.
I think I have been overcharged; how do I get it resolved?
You will need to contact the building manager or raise a ticket using "help desk". If it was a billing error, Building manager can apply credit on your account which reflects in your next due.
How can I get an invoice for maintenance payment?
You can download invoice from app, go to my payments → paid → respective month and click on “download invoice”. Alternately, you can subscribe for e-invoice by updating your email address in “profile” page on app.
I own two flats in the same community, can I link them together on Guardo?
Yes, certainly you can add multiple flats. Go to settings, click on "Add new", enter details and "request" for the building manager to approve. Once it is approved, you will be able to see all your flats together.
What is ‘Credit, ‘Due’ and ‘Overdue’ in the Payment section?
- Credit – refers to either a result of advance payment or adjustment done by building manager.
- Advance payment – refers to the payment you make in advance for your future dues.
- Due – refers to the outstanding payment.
- Overdue – refers to payments are not made past the due date.
Notifications:
Can I silent my visitor notifications?
Yes, all notifications are managed under app notification settings from your resident app, however you cannot opt out of notifications for payment alerts as we do not want you to miss out the payments and incur any fines if applicable.
e-intercom (IVR):
I don't get IVR phone calls for visitor entries but my family member does. How can I change it?
Only one user per unit can be subscribed to IVR, you can change it to yours from your profile on your resident app but be aware existing subscriber will stop receiving IVR calls.
